Step 1 – Contact your country lead
Request information from the lead organisation in your country:
-
England: Gen-All
-
Northern Ireland: Linking Generations
-
Scotland: Generations Working Together
Step 2 – Confirm your partnership
Discuss the programme with your intergenerational partner. Both organisations will need to agree to the process and sign an agreement with your country lead.
Step 3 – Complete required training
Two people from each partner organisation must complete:
-
Intergenerational Training (6 hours CPD Accredited)
-
Evaluation Training (3 hours CPD Accredited)
-
Quality Indicator Training (3 hours CPD Accredited)
This shared training approach builds long-term capacity, supports quality practice and helps reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing.
Training can only be accessed through the country lead organisations.
Step 4 – Join the CIC Peer Network
Attend online peer network meetings every six weeks (1 hour) to share learning, projects and best practice.
Step 5 – Join the Community of Practice
Once training is complete and you’ve attended two network meetings, your project will be added to the CIC UK Community of Practice map.
