We strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, young people, older adults, families, and communities. As a hub for practitioners and organisations, we amplify voices and maximise impact. We drive advocacy and inspire policy change to create a more connected and inclusive society.
Our Story
Gen-All was established to bring together intergenerational practice, research, and development across England. Formerly known as CIPRD (Centre for Intergenerational Practice, Research and Development), the initiative evolved into Gen-All to better reflect its mission: uniting people, projects, and ideas into one national network. Today, Gen-All serves as a hub for sharing knowledge, showcasing good practice, and fostering collaboration to strengthen the intergenerational movement.
Meet The Steering Group
Michele Dennison
Michèle collaborates with others to cultivate meaningful intergenerational connections and champion age inclusion in both community and workplace settings, where she facilitates creative partnerships and nurturing relationships that bridge generational divides.
Ben Dunn
Based in the North East with his young family, Ben brings over a decade of charity communications experience and is the founder of Global Intergenerational Week, he is passionate about amplifying stories of connection and community across age groups.
Sue Egersdorff
Sue is co-founder of Ready Generations Charity. Ready Generations is a purpose driven charity committed to bringing generations together to build age-friendly communities where everyone belongs.
Lorraine George
Lorraine has been involved in the intergenerational field since 2013 as a practitioner and project manager and now develops and delivers intergenerational training for Generations Working Together (Scotland), although she lives in Devon.
Judith Ish-Horowicz MBE
Judith is co-founder of Apples and Honey Nightingale CIC, Apples and Honey Nightingale Education and Training, and Gen-All, and is passionate about intergenerational work.
Hannah Kayi Mason
Hannah is the CEO of InCommon, a charity that creates opportunities for young people and older people to learn from one another, fostering mutual inspiration, growth, and a stronger sense of community.

Emma Rand
Emma is cofounder of AHN Education and Training, combines her expertise as an intergenerational trainer, early years teacher, and lecturer to advance practice and research that fosters connection across generations.
Sue Read
Sue is the CEO of the Beth Johnson Foundation in Stoke on Trent, a charity that champions a future for all ages.
Ellie Robinson-Carter
Ellie is Programme Director for the MSc Dementia at University of Hull, Founding Artistic Director of The Photobook Project and Co-Chair of the “Only Connect!” Network and Conference Series.
Dr Ali Beth Somers
Ali Beth specialises in social impact and intergenerational research. She has worked in the third sector for more than 25 years in education, research, and policy development.
